Responsible Gambling — Play Safe, Stay in Control

pkr565 is firmly committed to responsible gambling. Betting is entertainment — it should never cause financial stress, relationship difficulties or personal harm. This page gives you the tools, knowledge and resources to stay in full control of your gaming experience.

18+ Strictly Adults Only

pkr565 is for adults aged 18 or older — or the higher minimum age required by the applicable operator/licence jurisdiction. This notice does not imply that being 18 makes gambling lawful in Pakistan. Local laws, including the Prevention of Gambling Act, 1977, may restrict or prohibit gambling activity. Always verify the laws applicable in your location before engaging with any betting content.

Our Commitment

Why Responsible Gambling Matters to pkr565

For most people, betting on a Pakistan Super League match from Lahore, following live cricket odds during an ICC tournament or watching a UFC main event with a small wager is a perfectly enjoyable form of entertainment. That is exactly how gambling should stay — entertainment, with a clear budget and a relaxed mindset.

But gambling carries real risks. When the enjoyment fades and a person continues to bet to recover losses, to escape stress or out of compulsion, the activity has moved from entertainment into something that requires attention and support. pkr565 is committed to making sure every user has the information and tools they need before that point is ever reached.

Our responsible gambling commitment is not a compliance checkbox. It is a standing obligation reflected in how we design the platform, write our content and make protection tools prominently accessible — not buried in menus or hidden in fine print.

Protection Tools

Player Protection Tools at pkr565

These tools exist to help you maintain control over your gambling activity. We recommend setting limits before you start — not after a problem has developed.

Deposit Limits

Set a maximum amount you can deposit into your account within a defined time window — daily, weekly or monthly. Once your limit is reached, further deposits are blocked until the period resets. Setting a deposit limit is the simplest way to budget your gambling activity in Pakistani Rupees (PKR) before you begin.

Loss Limits

A loss limit caps the amount you can lose within a defined period. When your losses reach the threshold you set, further wagering activity is automatically restricted. Loss limits are an honest reality check — they make it impossible to chase losses beyond a level you have already decided is your boundary.

Session Time Limits

Set a maximum session duration. When the time you have allocated expires, the platform will alert you and, depending on settings, restrict access until the next session window. Time limits are particularly useful for preventing long, uninterrupted play sessions that commonly accompany problem gambling behaviour.

Cooling-Off Periods

A cooling-off period is a short, self-imposed break from gambling — typically between 24 hours and several weeks. During a cooling-off period, your account is restricted from wagering activity. This gives you the mental space to re-evaluate whether gambling continues to be an enjoyable form of entertainment for you.

Self-Exclusion

Self-exclusion allows you to suspend or permanently close your account for a defined period or indefinitely. During self-exclusion, you will not be able to log in, deposit or place wagers. This is the most robust protection tool available and is the right choice if you feel gambling is causing you harm. Contact support to activate it immediately.

Reality Check Alerts

Reality check notifications remind you how long you have been playing and how much you have spent during your current session. These alerts interrupt the flow of play and prompt a conscious decision — continue, take a break, or stop entirely. Awareness is the first step in responsible gambling.

Step by Step

How to Activate Your Protection Tools

All player-protection tools are accessible directly from your account settings or through our support team. There is no waiting period to activate a deposit limit, loss limit or self-exclusion — they take effect immediately upon confirmation.

Requests to increase a limit or end a self-exclusion early are subject to a mandatory cooling-off review period. This is a deliberate safeguard — the moment of wanting to increase a limit is often the moment when a limit is most needed.

Need to activate self-exclusion urgently? Contact us at [email protected] and our team will action the request immediately, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Navigate to Account Settings → Responsible Gambling → Deposit Limits. Choose your preferred time period (daily, weekly or monthly) and enter the maximum PKR amount you wish to deposit within that window. Confirm your selection — the limit activates immediately. To reduce a limit, the change takes effect immediately. To increase a limit, a mandatory review period applies before the change is processed.

Go to Account Settings → Responsible Gambling → Loss Limits. Enter the maximum amount in PKR you are willing to lose in a daily, weekly or monthly period. The limit is applied immediately. Once your loss threshold is reached, wagering activity will be blocked until the period resets. Reducing the limit takes immediate effect; increasing it requires a review period.

In Account Settings → Responsible Gambling → Session Limits, choose the maximum session duration you want — from as little as 15 minutes to several hours. An alert will notify you when you approach the limit. Once the limit is reached, you will be prompted to confirm whether to continue or stop. These reminders work best when set before beginning a gaming session, not during one.

Select Account Settings → Responsible Gambling → Cooling-Off and choose your desired break length — 24 hours, 48 hours, 7 days or longer. Your account will be restricted from wagering activity immediately. The cooling-off period cannot be ended early. When the period expires, you will need to actively log back in — there are no automatic prompts or marketing messages during your break.

Self-exclusion is available through Account Settings → Responsible Gambling → Self-Exclusion, or by contacting support directly at [email protected]. Choose a minimum exclusion period (such as 6 months, 1 year or 5 years) or opt for permanent closure. Self-exclusion activates immediately. During the exclusion period, you will not be able to log in, deposit or wager. Requests to reverse self-exclusion before the minimum period expires will not be processed — this is a deliberate design choice to protect your well-being.

  • Remove any saved payment methods linked to gambling accounts;
  • Delete gambling apps from your devices;
  • Block gambling websites through your internet service provider or browser;
  • Tell a trusted family member or friend about your decision for additional accountability.
Warning Signs

Recognising Problem Gambling

Problem gambling does not always look dramatic. It often develops gradually. These warning signs — relevant for both personal awareness and for people concerned about someone they know — are worth knowing.

01
Chasing Losses

Continuing to bet after losing in an attempt to win back money already lost. This is one of the most consistent indicators of problem gambling behaviour.

02
Betting Beyond Your Budget

Wagering money that was earmarked for essential expenses — rent, utilities, groceries, school fees — or borrowing money specifically to gamble.

03
Preoccupation with Gambling

Thinking constantly about past gambling sessions, planning the next bet, or structuring daily activity around betting opportunities, even when not actively gambling.

04
Needing to Bet Larger Amounts

Increasing stake sizes over time to achieve the same level of excitement — a pattern similar to tolerance in other addictive behaviours.

05
Concealing Gambling Activity

Hiding betting activity, account balances or losses from family members, partners or friends. Secrecy around gambling is a significant concern signal.

06
Gambling to Escape or Cope

Turning to gambling to manage stress, anxiety, depression or difficult personal situations rather than engaging in it purely for entertainment.

07
Failed Attempts to Stop

Repeatedly trying to reduce or stop gambling and finding it difficult or impossible to do so — even when you genuinely want to and understand the reasons to stop.

08
Relationship or Financial Damage

Gambling activity causing visible strain in personal relationships, impacting work performance or creating financial difficulties that affect daily life.

09
Restlessness When Not Gambling

Feeling irritable, anxious or restless when you are not gambling or when you try to reduce your gambling activity — a behavioural symptom consistent with dependency.

If you recognise three or more of these signs in yourself or someone you know, it is time to take action. Activating a self-exclusion, speaking to a trusted person or contacting a support professional are all positive first steps. Contact pkr565 support at [email protected] to activate account restrictions immediately.

Practical Tips

10 Habits of a Responsible Gambler

Responsible gambling is not about abstinence — it is about maintaining a healthy, conscious relationship with the activity. These habits make the difference between betting as a fun hobby and betting as a problem.

Setting limits before you start — not once a problem develops — is the single most effective responsible gambling action you can take. Use the tools on this page before your next session.

1
Set a Strict Budget Before You Start

Decide the maximum amount in PKR you can comfortably afford to lose before opening the platform. Treat that amount like the cost of a cinema ticket — gone whether you win or lose, and your entertainment was the value, not a guaranteed return.

2
Never Chase Losses

If you have reached your budget, stop. Continuing to bet to recover losses is the mechanism through which entertainment becomes addiction. Walk away — the market will still be there tomorrow.

3
Use Deposit and Loss Limits Consistently

Set platform limits that match your budget before beginning your session. This removes the in-the-moment temptation to overspend during an exciting PSL final or UFC event.

4
Take Regular Breaks

Step away from the platform regularly. Extended, uninterrupted sessions impair judgment and increase the likelihood of impulsive decisions. Use session time limit alerts to enforce this.

5
Do Not Gamble Under the Influence

Gambling while under the influence of alcohol or substances significantly increases impulsive betting, poor decision-making and loss of limit awareness. Avoid it entirely.

6
Keep Gambling Separate from Your Financial Life

Use a dedicated wallet or pre-set amount for gambling, separate from your main banking. Never use Easypaisa, JazzCash or bank account funds earmarked for rent, groceries or family expenses.

7
Understand Odds and House Edge

All casino games and betting markets carry a house edge or margin that makes long-term profitability for the player statistically unlikely. Gambling is entertainment — not a viable income strategy.

8
Avoid Gambling When Stressed or Upset

Using gambling to escape personal, financial or emotional problems is a warning sign. If you find yourself turning to betting to cope with difficulties in Karachi, Lahore or anywhere else, speak to someone you trust.

9
Talk Openly with Trusted People

Keeping gambling completely secret is often a red flag. Being open with a family member or friend about your activity — including wins and losses — creates healthy accountability.

10
Ask for Help Early — Not Late

If you notice the early signs of problematic gambling, take action immediately. Activating a cooling-off period or speaking to support at [email protected] is far easier than addressing a deeply entrenched habit months down the line.
